Distinguished Guests

This year, CIMUN VII is more than excited to welcome His Excellency Nkubito Manzi Bakuramutsa, the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Korea, and His Excellency Jorge Valerio Hernández, the Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica to the Republic of Korea as our distinguished guests. 

 

With their extensive experience in the field of International Relations and diplomacy, our guests will be making the keynote speeches for the Opening and Closing ceremonies. Here, they hope to share the valuable insights they gained while contributing to various diplomatic negotiations, the vision they hope for our world's future, and some words of encouragement for the youth of CIMUN VII.

Nkubito Manzi Bakuramutsa

THE AMBASSADOR OF THE
REPUBLIC OF RWANDA TO THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Nkubito Manzi Bakuramutsa is the Ambassador of Rwanda to the Republic of Korea. He was appointment in March 2023 and presented his credentials to His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol, President of the Republic of Korea on 17th October 2023. Ambassador Nkubito is an ICT expert with 23 years of experience working in various projects in both the public and private sector.

He has coordinated the implementation of various projects in accelerating connectivity at national level, transactional applications for good governance as well as E-education project looking at bringing 21st century skills to students in Rwanda. 

Prior to coming to Rwanda, Ambassador Nkubito, worked at Hewlett Packard, as a system engineer, in Roseville California on High End Enterprise Servers.

Earning several prestigious Awards and Honors, Ambassador Nkubito Bakuramutsa holds a Master in Business Administration from the Africa Leadership University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineer and Telecommunication from the New York Institute of Technology.

THE AMBASSADOR OF THE
REPUBLIC OF COSTA RICA TO THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Established in 2010, Chadwick MUN aims to educate the school-wide of Chadwick International School and the regional field about international relations and global issues to middle and upper school students. Under the administration's endeavor to 'lead by example', with its tenth year anniversary, ChadwickMUN has been hosting annual regional MUN conferences named 'CIMUN'. Our inaugural conference, CIMUN I, was held in 2020.

Chadwick Schools develop global citizens with keen minds, exemplary character, self-knowledge, and the ability to lead.
